Overview

Canvas has no built-in population view, so care teams lack a single place to triage their patients by visit recency, open work, or risk. Patient Panel adds a configurable, sortable, filterable roster of the clinic's patient population - opened from the provider menu or a note header - with the columns each clinic chooses: demographics, care team, visits, open tasks, care gaps, insurance, observation values, and custom fields. Built to stay fast even on large panels.

The patient roster with the filter bar (care team, insurance, facility, protocol), search, and per-column sorting.
Show, hide, and reorder columns from the column picker; the selection is driven by the PANEL_CONFIG secret.
Filter the roster by patient name and sort by any sortable column (here, open tasks).
Expand a patient row to see tasks, gaps, conditions, medications, allergies, and referrals inline, including task comment threads.
